The post is soooo true. I lifeguarded for five years. Last summer was the first time I have ever not been tan, IN MY LIFE. But now with a new outlook I second what she said, it is the best two summers my skin has ever looked. A weekend at the lake or a day outside playing is enough sun for me, and even though I still slightly hesitate when I reach for the shorts to wear out I do it..because my friends,

 as Amanda said..is pale the new tan?

Something to ponder.

Hallelujah I am done with summer school.

Now three more weeks of blissful summer until dreaded surgury.

Then off to rush week.

BID DAY.

And then I officially start my junior year of college.

OH my geez where has time gone?

Before ya know it we will all be......graduating.

Half way there.

Yes it sure does. I've used this lazy Saturday to get lots of little things out of the way..

First, Matt and I took Maxx to the North Farm lake to swim- we both had to wade out in the water to coax him in at first..then he loved it. I hate I don't have pictures of the two of us fully clothed standing waist deep in the lake.

Secondly, there are chiggers all in the back yard at cedar lane sooo since they have attacked me and maxx several times I cloroxed the dog house and all around it and cleaned some trash up back there.

Third, I got my shopping out of the way for the week.
Fourth, finally working on this HUGE pile of laundry that has been building up all week, including my bedspread and sheets.

Fifth, I'm playing with sweet friends tonight. Leah and Kcox.

Cherry Bomb

I have a current obsession with cherry. Cherry pie, Cherry cobler, Cherry Red, Cherry lip balm, and the most important Cherry Coke from Sonic.

There is something so sassy about cherry red.

Just got a fun little phone call from my mom saying she is planning a family vacay for July 22-July27.

WOO-HOO

That good news was just what I needed to perk me up because the week after we get back I have to have my wisdom teeth out AND my torn gum fixed. OUCH!

I LOVE SUMMER.

Here's what I have recently been loving in Starkvegas.

I've spent all day studying and I officially done with one class, and only one chapter left in the other two.

So excited.

Taking a study break the past few nights I have been taking Baby Maxx to the Dog Park at Moncrief Park. HE LOVES IT. Plus, it makes him come home and go to sleep.

As cheesy as it sounds you will be surprised if you go how many people you will know out there. Tonight there were three DG's there.

Plus your puppy will love it. There is everything from Great Danes to chihuahuahs playing everywhere.

So if you have a doggie and some spare time give it a try, I promise it won't dissapoint.

Hope everyone's Fourth of July was as wonderful as mine. The lake was better than could be expected, as usual. I don't have my pictures yet..they are still to come. 

An extra big shoutout to my baby sister who turned SEVENTEEN two days ago. She has already applied to State, which makes me feel super old. It seems like a few weeks ago MeriScott and I were planning our dorm room and waiting to move in. Now we are all Juniors in college. S C A R Y.

What is even scarier is that she will be in college next year which will make me a senior in college.

Where in the world did time go?
