I need HELP. We never crated our dogs at home, ever. So When I got Maxx we got a crate. He slept and stayed in it all of April and May without a problem. Now I'm all moved in Cedar Lane and Maxx is having fits in his crate-I'm talking barking, whining, crying, the whole shebang. I have no idea what to do, and with three other roomates it is really inconvenient having a dog that spazzs when you leave the room.
So today I set out to solve the problem..using GOOGLE, natually. As I start to type I say this....
My Weimaraner has....and google fills in... SEPARATION ANXIETY. Yep, that's right I chose a breed of dogs that is known for having severe separation anxiety..gggggreat. I read several articles and I lots of new ideas to try out to see if I can't break this nasty little habit. Wish me luck.
This is the problem area..
If only he was grown up enough to always sleep here...
If anyone has any suggestions on making him SHUT UP let me know :)
Love to ya all, Marysusan
